I'm summering!!!

Summer is my favorite season; I don't trust anyone who says otherwise. And I believe that 1 week of Euro summer can solve all of my problems. Why else am I spending 80 hrs a week hunched over my laptop? Unfortunately, not every summer can be a Euro summer. So, here is my curated list of places that feel exactly the same. There might still be some travel involved, depending on which time of the day you get on the 405. After 2 glasses of French pinot, you could be fully convinced you're somewhere lost in the south of France.

CouCou — Everyone’s talking about it right now. Bistro-style outdoor seating, caviar, French food.

El Chucho — Hear me out. I’m not usually an organic wine person. BUT something about sitting on their patio last night, 75 degrees at 7:30 pm, healed me.

Bar Sinizki — You already know I love it here. One of the most beautiful bars in LA. Great food. Nothing to complain about.

Spina — Bar Sinizki’s next-door neighbor. Grab a cocktail on their patio at 2 pm. They close from 3–5 (very European of them).

Dudley Market — Some people love it, some people don’t. Either way, their food is undeniably great. You can watch the sunset while waiting three hours for a table.

Seco — The coolest people in LA sit on the curb here, sipping organic wine and looking effortlessly chic.

Bar Siesta — Spanish tapas, gorgeous interior. They just opened a café inside, and I need to go check it out.

Kassi — The group behind Elephante & Belles took over the rooftop at Hotel Erwin and turned it into a Greek restaurant. I went for the grand opening, and they had a DJ and a ton of people mingling. Hopefully, it’s like that all summer long.

Marvin — Outdoor bistro tables, mussels w/ fries, steak frites, and a very long French wine list.

If you're going to play the part, you'll need the viral Elisa Johnson sunglasses. They're constantly on back order. Every time I wear them, I get DMs asking where they're from. And luckily, I found a link that has them in stock!
